Sextortion

Sextortion is a form of child sexual exploitation where youth are threatened or blackmailed, most often with the possibility of sharing with the public a nude or sexual images of them, by a person who demands additional sexual content, sexual activity or money from the kid or teen.

Gio's Room at CACFC

Gio's room was created as a space just for teens, allowing you to have your own place to unwind after a forensic interview. With a comfortable couch, TV, and sensory activities, teens are able to re-center themselves by engaging in mindfulness activities to round out your visit with us.

NetSmartz is NCMEC's online safety education program. It provides age-appropriate videos and activities to help teach kids and teens to be safer online with the goal of helping them become more aware of potential online risks and empowering them to help prevent victimization by making safer choices on- and offline.
